Just two days ago, Bryan Johnson, better known as "Liver King," was arrested in Austin, Texas, on terrorism charges. The arrest followed a series of online threats he directed at podcaster Joe Rogan. Johnson initially rose to fame for his extravagant "ancestral lifestyle," characterized by a diet primarily of raw organ meats and bull testicles. He attributed his remarkably muscular physique to this "clean living" and relentless gym workouts, selling organ-based supplements to an eager audience who aspired to emulate him.
His empire crumbled in 2022 when fitness influencer Derek Munro of "More Plates, More Dates" exposed Johnson for steroid use. Johnson eventually confessed, and his supplement business rapidly declined. The Liver King's story faded from public view until last month when Netflix released "Untold: The Liver King," a documentary chronicling his rise and fall. Johnson provided exclusive interviews for the film but appeared displeased with the final product. In social media posts last month, he accused both the director and Netflix of being "liars," presumably for not portraying him in a more positive light.
That's when things took a bizarre turn.
