Fraudulent Votes Found in Colorado's deeply-red Mesa County

Colorado election officials say that they’ve stopped a scheme to cast fraudulent votes in Mesa county–one of the most conservative regions of the state. Election workers discovered the scheme during the signature verification process.  Out of the dozen ballots that were submitted, three made it through and entered the state’s official count.  Police have no suspects in the case, which means the person behind it is still at large. 

I never wanted this channel to revolve around politics, but with a national election set to decide the future of democracy in this country, I have made the—probably bad—decision to put out two videos about how this election is fundamentally different from any other I have lived through. Indeed, this is possibly the most consequential election in our lifetime.

The evidence of voter fraud in Mesa County could turn out to be an isolated incident. However, with the last four years of Trumps inflammatory rhetoric, it could also be the beginning of a trend in American electoral systems that undermine our collective ability to believe that votes are fair.
